Demon Sword aims to revive classic hack 'n slash gaming. Gameplay is inspired by Devil May Cry, while the visuals use a similar technique to Octopath Traveler, fusing 2D pixel art with a 3D environment.

I decided to upload the demo of Demon Sword — I developed this piece of software while I was studying Game Design and Production. This demo includes the prologue chapter and a combat showcase with upgrade mechanics. I thought, why not share and let people play it? Even though the development is halted at the moment, if the project gets enough reach and recognition, I might continue it! I set up a Patreon page, but please be aware that I can only dedicate time to development if significant funds are raised.

Story-driven

Set in modern times, the story centers on Selene, a legendary warrior who, in secrecy, fights against demons that cross the threshold between our world and theirs. She meets a woman named Annabelle who asks her to investigate unusual cult activity in a nearby town.

Demon Sword is the HD-2D reimagining of Devil May Cry, faithfully capturing the essence of the iconic series' initial installments. With intense combat sequences and thrilling environments, it faithfully recreates everything fans cherished.
